Plant Maintainer/Driver

SUMMARY:
Our client in Claremont, Cape Town is seeking a reliable and dedicated Plant Maintainer/Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, both spoken and written, and possess excellent communication and writing skills. A valid Code 8 Driver’s License and proven experience as a driver are essential. The role requires a courteous and professional demeanor, a strong work attendance record, and in-depth knowledge of the greater Cape Town area. Flexibility to work long hours, including overtime, is necessary. Experience in the services industry, particularly with plant maintenance, is a bonus.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Excellent communication and writing skills
• Valid, unendorsed Code 8 Driver’s License
• Proven experience as a Driver
• Courteous, polite, and professional demeanor
• Strong work attendance record
• Extensive knowledge of the greater Cape Town area
• Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when required
• Knowledge of the services industry, particularly in relation to plants, is a plus

• Attend to the maintenance of all plants supplied to customers
• Completing plant-ups where and when necessary
• Take responsibility for your route
• Drives to reduce the risk of collision or damage by anticipating dangerous situations, adverse conditions or the mistakes of others
• Punctuality
• Completion of delivery sheets
• Professional and tidy in appearance
• Assist in keeping warehouse clean and tidy
