Plant Financial Manager

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a Plant Financial Manager in the East Rand within the hard manufacturing industry. This position offers a chance to take on a key role in managing financial operations at a plant level, focusing on strategic financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and cost control, playing a critical role in optimizing financial performance and supporting business decision-making. In this role, strong financial management skills are essential, along with expertise in standard costing procedures. You will oversee a team of 18, including both operational and finance personnel within the plant. Your daily responsibilities will involve variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, material billing, KPI management, and other tasks related to cost control and financial oversight for the plant.

Job Skills and Requirements:

• ACMA CGMA
• 5 years experience in a operational finance role
• Plant based experience is non negotiable
• Strategic thinking and ability to provide financial input
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Exposure to Syspro ERP would be highly beneficial
