SUMMARY:
Leads, supervises, assigns, reviews, and participates in the work of staff responsible for continuous improvement and maintenance of plant equipment, machinery, and related facilities. Ensures work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and performs the more technical and complex tasks responsibility.

POSITION INFO:

Education/Training:

N6/Btech (NQF 6 minimum) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
The Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) Factories ticket – non-negotiable
Equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training in electrical or mechanical maintenance systems or a related field.
Red Seal Trade Test qualification as a Millwright/Electrician/Mechatronics Technician.
Supervisory Management or any Management Certificate/Qualification will be advantageous

Experience:

5-10 years of plant maintenance experience.
5 years’ experience in a lead supervisory/managerial role in the FMCG/Manufacturing Industry.
Must be able to exercise excellent Leadership skills
