SUMMARY:
PLANNING MANAGER (LOGISTICS & SUPPLY CHAIN)
HAMMARSDALE -KZN
The position will examine existing procedures / processes
and streamline activities in such a way that customer requirements are met on time in full and at lowest possible cost.

POSITION INFO:
National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management/Planning
15 years work experience of which 6 years are in a Senior Planning Role
Experience in SAP/ERP Applications
Implement, evaluate and maintain/improve effective planning processes and systems
through continuous evaluation.
Pro-actively monitor departmental operational and financial performance and develop action
plans to achieve targets set for the department
Support the planning of introduction of New Products from successful launch until product
retirement.
Ensure the safeguarding and security of Company assets
Evaluate the training needs of all staff reporting to the position and ensure appropriate plans are in place
Contribute to periodic departmental and company planning and budgeting cycles including the annual Business Plan Process.
