Planner (Sasolburg Operations)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking to appoint a Planner for Sasolburg Operations who has significant experience working in the Petro-chemical industry and or Scaffolding, Insulation and Painting. 

Minimum Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Proficient in planning software (e.g., Microsoft Project, other project management tools). 
• Analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to take initiative and be adaptable. 
• Knowledge of the specific industry (e.g., construction, event management, logistics) is a plus.
• Prior experience in planning, project management, or a related field is 
  preferred.

• Develop and manage detailed plans for projects, events, or operations. 
• Coordinate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure goals are met. 
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, adjusting as needed. 
• Oversee resource allocation, ensuring the correct people, materials, and budget are available. 
• Ensure all plans comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. 
• Communicate effectively with internal and external parties to share updates, resolve issues, and provide feedback. 
• Identify potential risks or challenges and work proactively to mitigate them. 
• Prepare and maintain reports, schedules, and other documentation related to projects or activities. 
• Perform other duties as required to ensure successful project execution. 
• Use the norms to measure productivity daily  
• Ensure that clients planning complies to the contract, be able to reject work when not planned according. 
• Track all change emergencies and change of priority. 
• Able to attend the client meeting on daily and update the work schedules.
