Personal Assistant to the CEO

An established Insurance Brokerage Company based in Durban North is seeking a highly experienced Personal Assistant (PA) to the CEO. This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with a strong background in supporting C-suite executives. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 8 years’ experience in a similar role and the ability to manage both business and personal affairs efficiently.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Essential: Matric.
• Valid Drivers License and vehicle.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant in a corporate environment, preferably supporting C-suite executives.
• Proven experience in handling both business and personal affairs for a senior executive.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Essential: Must be willing to travel to Nottingham road 3 – 4 times monthly.

• Provide comprehensive executive support to the CEO, managing calendars, meetings, and correspondence.
• Organise domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodation, and itineraries.
• Assist with personal and household management tasks as required.
• Coordinate and manage key business and personal events.
• Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and documentation using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Arrange and oversee business-related errands, appointments, and engagements.
• Manage expense tracking, budgets, and financial reconciliations for the CEO.
• Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders on behalf of the CEO.
