About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join a dynamic team within the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience processing high-volume payroll (600+ employees) and commission-based payments. This role requires a meticulous, deadline-driven professional with a strong understanding of payroll legislation and best practices.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processing for 600+ employees.
Accurately calculate and process commission payments in line with company structures.
Ensure compliance with labour laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
Manage payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
Work closely with HR and Finance teams to maintain payroll accuracy.
Handle queries related to salaries, benefits, and deductions.
Implement payroll system improvements for efficiency.

Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of payroll management experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
Strong knowledge of commission-based payroll structures.
Proven experience managing payroll for 600+ employees.
Expertise in payroll software & systems (e.g., VIP, SAGE, SAP, or similar).
Strong knowledge of statutory requirements (PAYE, UIF, SDL, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
