Requirements

Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in
- Business Administration
- Commerce
- Transport Management
Experience in Passenger Transport Industry
Knowledge of transport industry (especially bus and coach Sector)
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Microsoft PowerPoint
Excellent reporting and presentation skills
Knowledge of financial management
Budgets

Responsibilities

Managing affairs of association
Co-ordinating support to all the structures and branches
Overseeing and monitoring the activities of various sub-committees
Marketing and growing the membership of the Association
Managing the:
- Branches
- Operations
- Finances
- Staff
- Procurement suppliers

Managing:
- Media
- Corporate communications
- social media
- reputable management of the association
Compiling reports
Monthly financial reports to the National council
Compiling an annual budget
Project management of SOBOA Annual conference
Manage Head office and secretariat team
