PR and Communications Coordinator

Who are we looking for:  A strategic thinker and agile PR and Communications Coordinator ready to take the next step in their career with our progressive destination marketing company.

What will you do:

• Strategic communication planning
• Media relations
• Content creation
• Digital and social media management
• Event coordination
• Internal communications
• Measurement and analysis

What do you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field
• Minimum of 7 years + in communications
• Proven experience in media relations, content creation and social media management
• Ability to translate and execute communication strategies across audiences, with particular experience in navigating corporate structures
• Excellent organisational and project management abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English with spoken Afrikaans a bonus)
• Digital and social media savvy for managing and monitoring our accounts
• Data analysis and research skills for reporting on communication impact
• Internal employer brand communication experience (advantageous)
• Passion for Cape Town and attending membership events (reliable vehicle required)
