PAM 14755 - Production Team Leader (Assembly) – Durban

Your duties will encompass:

• Understanding of production costs i.e. Waste, downtime, scrap and re-work.
• Understanding of Quality standards.
• Leading small group activities to drive improvement ideas.
• Drive safety protocols and regulatory requirements in a manufacturing environment.
• Reporting, including tracking attendance, output, downtime, and other key performance metrics.
• Operating relevant machinery and equipment used in the Welding Assembly production process
• Oversee the workload of operators and ensure the allocation of work is done.
• Monitor the team’s performance and ensure that hourly and daily targets are achieved.
• Review the daily production plan and communicate targets and objectives with the team daily.
• Mentors, trains, guides, and provide knowledge and support to team members.
• Monitor and provide input into the employee relations climate and corrective disciplinary process.
• Implement and monitor quality standards as per compliance audit and ISO standards.
• Daily inspection and reporting of machine condition/effectiveness and reviews machine breakdown and action plans.
• Receiving of components and materials • Meet the required KPI’s.
• Monitors and completes necessary documentation for leave, overtime etc.
• Ensure that all machinery is used in accordance with standard operating procedures.
