Operations Manager, Witbank

SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Operations Manager for a permanent role based in Witbank, Mpumalanga

POSITION INFO:

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:

• BSc Chemical Engineering or B. Eng (Chemical)
• 3+ years’ experience in advanced water treatment
• Softening, ultra filtration, and reverse osmosis experience
• Understanding of plant health and water treatment asset managing
• Relevant management as well MS Office and email ability
• Must have an excellent aptitude, attitude, and temperament to deal with complex projects and clients

• Manage production & maintenance team and ensure compliance to quality and quantity KPI’s
• Safety standards compliance and effective administration
• Continuous improvement and optimization of processes
• Management of stock control
• Monitoring records and reporting & efficient resource management
• Ensure client satisfaction, monthly plant reports and attend client meetings
• Monitor plant health and pro-actively intervene to ensure plant availability is optimized
