SUMMARY:
5* Boutique Hotel in the Sandton area aiming for the highest levels of hospitality standards is looking for an Operations Manager to guide, coach, inspire and manage the hotel team.

The hotel offers 9 Rooms and a Private Villa, has a Bar and Restaurant with the prime focus on resident / in house guests
The main clientele are high end families from over the world, with the US and UK as the most important markets.

POSITION INFO:
Strong, organized personality that can bring change to the team.
Someone strict to bring discipline, but also being a warm hands-on team player to connect and train the staff to reach high standards.
A great eye for fine detail and with a broad experience in senior hospitality roles on 5* service level
Ensure that the hotel will look impeccable, knowing what maintenance is needed
Organize guest delights

Requirements:

At least 2-3 years experience in leading Senior positions in 5* hospitality, either in city or bush
Hotel management diploma; and some experience with hotel financials, HR and food & beverage department and ideally also with the local business market
Must have driving licence and own vehicle
Presentable appearance
Fluent in English, spoken and written, having the necessary basic knowledge of IT systems, with Microsoft and hotel reservations systems, experience to handle with OTA’s, and experience with PAN Hospitality would be an advantage.
Promotion to the Group GM team is possible in future when qualities are proven and targets are reached
