Dynamic financial services team, part of a global group of companies, seeks an Operations Assistant

POSITION INFO:

Dynamic financial services team, part of a global group of companies, seeks an Operations Assistant for their banking business, who has international payments / Swift experience. Role available due to growth in the team. This proactive and forward-thinking team, offer a great working environment!

Responsibilities:

Accurately and timeously process cross-border payments
Verify payment details and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
Timeously resolve payment-related issues and day to day client queries
Reconcile and maintain client records and transactions
Ensure relevant documents are complete and saved
Prepare reports and summaries of payments
Manage client inquiries and maintain excellent customer service, assist with payment-related concerns
Liaise with Case Management team to address client needs
Stay on top of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Maintain and implement compliance and controls
Liaise with team member to improve and streamline processes

Requirements:

Minimum of a BCom or Diploma in finance, business, or similar
Previous experience in financial services or banking space, international and cross border payments (with basic SWIFT knowledge)
Strong MS Office (Excel) skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication, written and verbal
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven space
