POSITION INFO:

The Operational Technical Support Manager: Alternative Administration is a pivotal role responsible for providing technical oversight to the Fund Accounting teams in the Hedge Funds sector. Reporting to the Head of Alternative Administration, this technical specialist position requires extensive experience in hedge funds, strong client engagement skills, and a background in fund implementation.

The manager will enhance efficiencies within the existing hedge fund book, streamline processes, and ensure the smooth delivery of new fund implementations. They will provide training and support to fund administrators and team leaders regarding new processes and clients, and will act as the primary point of contact for new client relationships during the onboarding phase.

Key responsibilities include resolving technical queries related to systems and processes, onboarding new clients, conducting the first month NAV review, and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency. The manager will also support the Client Implementation function and Project Office in managing new fund requests and regulatory changes.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-8 years of experience in a technical operations oversight position within the hedge fund environment, with a proven track record of onboarding new clients and implementing new funds. Solid client engagement experience in hedge funds is essential.

Required Qualifications

A Financial Markets Honours degree in Finance, Investments, or Accounting is required.
