Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a skilled Operational Risk Specialist / Combined Assurance Specialist to enhance their risk management capabilities. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with 5–8 years of experience in operational risk within financial services, coupled with some exposure to IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain robust operational risk management frameworks.
• Design and execute combined assurance models to ensure effective governance across all levels.
• Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across the organization, including IT-related risks.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with risk management strategies and objectives.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancements.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory and organizational standards, ensuring timely reporting to key stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risk trends.

• Experience: 5–8 years of operational risk management experience in the financial services sector.
• IT Exposure: Familiarity with IT risk management and controls, with the ability to assess risks in digital systems and environments.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Education: A relevant bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, IT, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CRISC, CIA, or CISA) are advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of combined assurance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and risk management best practices.
