Our client, a leading agricultural services provider, is seeking an Operational Coordinator L2 to oversee daily operations, workforce management, and logistical planning for release and monitoring activities. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and experience in operational supervision within an agricultural environment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Matric required; a degree or diploma in Agriculture will be advantageous
• AVCASA qualification and PCO (Pest Control Officer) certification will be beneficial
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a supervisory or coordinating role
• Experience in agriculture and health & safety systems will be an advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth workflow and staff supervision
• Manage stock levels and implement effective stock control measures
• Supervise release and monitoring personnel, ensuring adherence to quality standards
• Plan and coordinate logistics for release and monitoring operations
• Ensure operational equipment is serviced, calibrated, and well-maintained
• Conduct performance management, coaching, and training of staff
• Maintain operational records, attendance registers, and data control systems
• Handle HR administration, including leave management and discipline
• Liaise with internal teams, pilots, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations
• Uphold health and safety regulations within the workplace
