SUMMARY:
Purpose of the position: To source and sign new clients in order to grow the business.

Area: Stellenbosch or Sandton, Gauteng

Salary: R50000 p/m (Includes medical aid & provident fund) plus Commission 15%; petrol, cell phone, data (home Wi-Fi)

Purpose of the position: To source and sign new clients in order to grow the business.

Duties:

• Identify and arrange meetings with prospective new clients
• Provide accurate information to clients through understanding the business
• Regular new client interactions and documented outcomes/discussions (New Business list)
• Meeting FAIS requirements in terms of documentation and client record of advice
• Manage and facilitate communication and co-operation with the relevant team members to maximise the quality and probability of success in client pitches.
• Project manage all aspects of the new business process from lead generation to client pitch.
• Work with the relevant business to ensure the smooth onboarding and integration of the client
• Working closely with the Marketing team to align the overall marketing strategy to the specific new business strategy.
• Manage and maintain a pipeline new business prospects and targets
• Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients, colleagues and the market

Skills, qualifications and experience

• Qualified FAIS representative for client advice (RE5)
• Relevant financial or insurance related qualification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years short term insurance industry experience.
• Direct new business development experience preferred
• Comfortable to converse with C Suite level clients
