An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced Network Engineer to join a fast-paced environment where innovation, performance, and reliability are at the forefront. This role is ideally suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic infrastructure landscape and is eager to take ownership of critical network systems.

Our client is looking for a subject matter expert in network infrastructure who can lead from the front, provide 3rd level support, and help develop the wider team’s capabilities. This is more than a support role – it’s a chance to shape future-ready network solutions across firewalls, load balancers, and routing technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and support FortiGate firewalls, F5 load balancers, and Cisco network equipment (switches, routers, LNS).
• Deploy and test new network solutions, with a strong focus on security and performance.
• Automate routine processes and streamline network operations.
• Monitor network performance, traffic, and logging with tools such as Netflow, Sflow, and Syslog.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation, backup configurations, and dashboards for troubleshooting and customer visibility.
• Provide expert-level support and ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• An IT-related degree/diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, JNCA, NSE (FortiGate), or similar vendor-specific qualifications.
• Solid Linux experience (Windows experience a bonus).
• AWS Cloud Practitioner or Architect certification (Professional level a bonus).
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar network engineering role.
