SUMMARY:
A client of ours within the non- profit organisation sector is looking for a passionate and experienced Network Administrator to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Location
Midrand-Johannesburg

Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
Familiarity with ISO, PCI DSS, or similar standards
Knowledge of IT Service Management processes (ITIL, COBIT, etc.)
This role requires at least 5-years as a Network Administrator of which at least 3-years should have been in technical security administration
Expertise in Microsoft technologies LAN/WAN, VPN's, firewalls and vulnerability scanning tools
Strong technical skills in IIS, Linus, VMWare, and Veeam Backup

Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management: Handle technology infrastructure across Development, UAT, Backup, and Production environments
Documentation: Keep configurations and processes well-documented
Performance Optimization: Ensure the availability, capacity, and performance of our infrastructure
Disaster Recovery: Conduct tests and manage backups to safeguard our data
Support: Assist the Security Administrator and Helpdesk when needed
