National Deals and Pricing Manager (FMCG)

SUMMARY:
Leading distributor of cold and ambient FMCG finished goods requires a National Deals and Pricing Manager to manage the Deals/Claims and Pricing Department.  Reporting to the CFO.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Relevant Degree / Diploma
• 3-5 years experience within Deals and Pricing
• People management experience (essential)
• FMCG experience (essential)
• Strong in Data analytics
• Advanced Excel
• Attention to detail
• Able to work overtime as required

• Staff overtime management and submission
• Monthly performance appraisals
• Work closely with IT department for enhancement, upgrade new features and reports or requirements on systems
• Testing and final sign off on any new IT projects / tasks
• Report and resolve any departmental requirements to Senior Management

• Allocation of national deals and promotions
• Ensure all loaded, manual and fuel levy claims have been processed, checked, submitted and uploaded for month end as well as all bulk backdate claims
• Loading of national deals and promotions and claiming deals and on supplier channel
• Recon of customer credits
• Calculate and submit bulk backdates
• Manual claims as required for rebates, etc.
• GRV Reports
• Customer sales reports
• Assisting Auditors with queries required

• Oversee completion and management of customer price files and management of uploaded catalogues on the shared system nationally
• Sorting of discounts queries and investigate price differences
• Completing and submitting import templates to IT when required due to staff shortages or departmental pressure
• Pricing queries
• New listings are actioned and completed by relevant administrator or actioning this in the event of staff shortages or departmental pressure
• Ensure that any price amendments are actioned

• Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly reports are pulled, checked and saved accordingly
• Assist with margin queries
• Ensure weekly promotions are received, allocated, approvals requested and received as well as adding, assigning, managing and updating statuses for price increases as received
• Update and manage departmental promo grid and ensure it is kept up to date with a new copy saved weekly (archiving old promo grids)
