SUMMARY:
A busy steel trading warehouse requires a hands-on person to oversee the full function of the warehouse.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and Requirements:

5 or more years recent working experience in a steel trading warehouse
To oversee the full function of receiving and dispatching of stock
Planning of loads and checking that the correct stock in loaded
Computer literate
Knowledge of mild steel related products
Able to work under pressure
Able to work night shift: one week 6pm to 6am (Monday to Thursday and the following week Monday to Friday 6pm to 6am)
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Able to work independently
Have strong supervisory skills
Of sober habits
Be physically fit and energetic and able to work on your feet
Reside in and around the Germiston industry
Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license
A stable work record and have contactable references
