SUMMARY:
The purpose of the role is to manage patient appointments and ensure a seamless patient experience. Your primary tasks will include scheduling appointments, answering patient inquiries, and performing various data entry tasks efficiently and accurately.
POSITION INFO:
General: This role is an independent contractor role and the successful candidate will be required to work according to Global working hours depending on various Time zones
Qualification and requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent is required; a degree or certification in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
- CRM systems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a medical receptionist or assistant, is preferred.
- Experience in customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Problem-solving abilities with strong critical thinking skills.
- Empathy, patience, and the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Adaptability to new technologies and changing processes.
- Certification as a medical administrative assistant or in medical scheduling is advantageous.
- Experience with insurance verification is preferred but not mandatory.
