POSITION INFO:
The Multimedia Designer will be responsible for designing and producing a variety of multimedia elements that enhance the organization’s brand, marketing efforts, and online presence. The role involves working on projects ranging from digital graphics, animation, video production, and web content. The ideal candidate should be creative, detail-oriented, and proficient in various multimedia design tools and software.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY.
Design and Development:
- Create high-quality visual content, including graphics, animations, videos, and interactive media for various platforms such as websites, social media, and advertisements.
- Develop multimedia projects that align with the company’s branding and marketing strategies.
- Design engaging user interfaces for websites, apps, and digital experiences.
Photography, Video Production and Editing:
- Photography and image editing
- Create and edit videos for marketing campaigns, corporate presentations, and product showcases.
- Manage video shoots, including setting up lighting, camera work, and audio.
- Integrate animation and motion graphics into videos for enhanced storytelling.
Animation and Motion Graphics:
- Develop animations, including 2D and 3D motion graphics, to illustrate complex ideas or engage audiences.
- Use animation software to create logos, intros, transitions, and visual effects for video content.
Collaboration and Project Management:
- Work closely with internal departments to ensure consistent and cohesive multimedia outputs.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high quality.
- Present design concepts to stakeholders and make adjustments based on feedback.
Brand Consistency:
- Ensure all multimedia designs are consistent with the company’s brand guidelines.
- Continuously refine and update multimedia materials to reflect evolving brand identity and market trends.
- Experience or qualification in Copywriting is an advantage
Research and Innovation:
- Stay up to date with emerging multimedia technologies, design trends, and tools.
- Experiment with new techniques and tools to create innovative multimedia content.
- Conduct research to ensure that multimedia content is competitive and engaging for the target audience

EDUCATION, LANGUAGE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Certification in animation, video editing, or related multimedia software is a plus.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in multimedia design, graphic design, or related roles.
- Proven experience in creating animations, video content, and digital designs.
- A strong portfolio showcasing multimedia work, including animation, video production, and graphic design.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
- Application of Corporate Brand Guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and present creative ideas.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects.
- Proficiency in multimedia software such as Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Figma Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator), 3D design tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D)
