Role Overview / Purpose

Qualifications:

• Matric/Grade 12
• RE5 certification
• FETC: Short-term Insurance NQF4 or higher (preferred)
• Compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., DOFA period, FAIS Fit & Proper)

Experience & Skills Required:

• 3 years call centre sales experience
• 1 year outbound call centre sales experience
• 2 years of motor and home sales experience
• Fluency in English plus one other official language

Key Responsibilities:

• Maximise policy sales and monthly written premiums in a compliant, customer-centric manner.
• Engage professionally with lead providers and customers.
• Execute the sales process with skill, knowledge, diligence, and integrity.
• Provide competitor quotes where necessary to meet customer needs.
• Optimise each lead by offering additional products where applicable.
• Use strong communication and interpersonal skills to secure customer acceptance.
• Identify customer needs through effective questioning and attentive listening.
• Match product benefits to customer requirements and demonstrate value.
• Overcome objections with appropriate responses.
• Maintain self-motivation and productivity, particularly when working remotely.
