SUMMARY:

Our client in Kirkwood has a vacancy for a Motor Mechanic withÂ experience with agricultural equipment, cars, trucks and bakkies. The position requires mechanical expertise, problem solving skills and commitment to customer service.

POSITION INFO:

Duties and Responsibilities

Assemble and build mechanical components according to provided specifications.
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify mechanical issues and ensure proper functioning.
Perform emergency repairs and routine maintenance at customer sites.
Maintain detailed records of services rendered, including parts used, time spent, and service reports.
Manage on-site repairs, servicing, and maintenance of equipment efficiently.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain excellent housekeeping standards at work and customer premises.

Requirements

Experience: 3-5 years of post-trade test experience with farming and heavy fleet vehicles and equipment.
License: A valid driver's license.
Transport: Own reliable transportation.
Flexibility: Willing to work flexible hours and balance mechanical tasks, cleaning, and clerical responsibilities.
Communication Skills: Proficient in English and Afrikaans.
