Sydsen Recruit - International is currently recruiting for a Mobile Developer to join our client’s team on a full-time, permanent basis in Centurion. If you are passionate about designing and developing native Android and iOS applications and have 4+ years of experience, this opportunity could be perfect for you. POSITION INFO:
As a Mobile Developer, you will collaborate closely with the core development team of a web-based system to ensure that key features are available on mobile platforms (Android and iOS).

You’ll be involved in the complete development lifecycle, from conceptualisation, design, and coding to deployment and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Develop fully functional, high-performance mobile apps using best practices.
• Write unit tests and UI tests to ensure quality and robustness.
• Debug and optimize application performance.
• Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Work closely with the core product development team to plan and implement new features.
• Research and recommend new tools, technologies, and best practices in mobile development.

• Mentor junior developers.
• Take on a Team Leader role.
• Contribute to high-level decision-making regarding technology, architecture, and project planning.

• A relevant degree (preferably B.Sc. or B.Eng.) with good academic results.
• South African Citizen.
• Proven experience with native iOS (Swift) or Android (Java/Kotlin) app development.
• Demonstrable portfolio of released applications on the App Store and/or Google Play Store.
• Strong knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
