As a Mining and Geotechnical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of assessing geological conditions, designing safe and effective mining strategies, and contributing to sustainable practices that benefit both the industry and the environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological assessments to evaluate site conditions and potential risks.
• Develop and implement mining strategies that prioritize safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of geotechnical considerations in mining operations.
• Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision-making processes.
• Monitor mining operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and sustainability initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mining and geotechnical engineering, with at least 5 years in the field.
• Strong knowledge of geological assessment, mining processes, and geotechnical principles.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, GeoStudio, or similar tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to safety and risk management in mining operations.
