Exciting opportunity exists with this well-established home textile manufacturer, supplying quality bed linen, curtains, scatters, tablecloths, blankets and other homeware products, to leading national retailers and the hospitality industry. An experienced, on-trend Merchandiser, with an affinity for home textiles and the ability to develop and build ranges based on trends and customer needs is required to join their dynamic team. Previous experience in the textile or manufacturing industry secures.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build ranges to suit customer needs and present ranges to customers.
- Oversee the entire product sampling process
- Oversee the complete development process including conducting product research
- Identify existing and new on-trend products in the market
- Re-engineer products to optimise quality and cost efficiency
Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field would be ideal
- Previous experience in merchandising, or supply chain management in the textile or manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of textile manufacturing processes and quality standards
- Strong organizational and time management skills
