POSITION INFO:
Our client, in the Fashion industry, is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team, based in Durban.
Minimum Requirements:-
- Minimum 5 years' applicable experience within Fashion industry
- Good communication skills
Duties to include:-
- Product development / Concept negotiations
- Must be able to source New Fabrics
- Brief receipt
- Costings for the clients
- Brief load onto a schedule / change into a job
- Obtain artwork / colours from the Buyer
- Give the mill approval to go ahead with bulk and get confirmed shipment date
- Check the bulk sampling when it arrives and check weight / fabric base – matches the approval
- Check fits and seals before they leave
- Offer extra units to the customers
- Rating adjustments
- Keep schedule updated with area responsible for
- Chasing for customers PO’s
