About the Role
As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will take charge of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring the successful execution of mechanical systems and equipment projects in mineral processing facilities. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and timelines, and oversee the installation, commissioning, and optimization of cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and deliver mechanical projects within the mineral processing sector from inception to completion.
• Lead project teams, including engineers, contractors, and suppliers, to achieve milestones and project objectives.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards across all project activities.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation to deliver within scope and deadlines.
• Coordinate design reviews, procurement, and the installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot challenges and optimize project outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience managing projects within the mineral processing, mining, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, and processes in mineral processing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards.
• PMP or similar certification (preferred).
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
