POSITION INFO:

A leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering company in the packaging industry is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in machine design to join their team in Lanseria, Johannesburg.
This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with experience in designing, developing, installing, and commissioning automation systems within the food and beverage packaging sector.

Education:

BEng Mechanical Engineering

Job Experience & Skills Required:

3 years’ experience in designing and developing
Fully able to design and develop on AutoCAD, Inventor and Solidworks
Exposure in food and beverage packaging environment
Designing and installing packaging machinery
Developing conveyors and machinery
Proficient with Solidworks, AutoCAD and Fusion
Project planning, managing projects and compiling a project plan with Microsoft Projects
