Mechanical Engineer with a sincere interest and solid design skills of HVAC & R equipment required. Technology-oriented trading Group, operating in refrigeration and air conditioning industrial systems. Will be involved in all aspects of HVAC designs and heat load calculations. Excellent career prospects. Industrial and commercial plants.

POSITION INFO:
Design Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineer HVAC & R (Manufacturer and Distributor)

Johannesburg

International company with branches across the world
Head office position.

Company focuses on the design, manufacture, import and distribution of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning equipment, solutions and Products.

Qualification:

BEng/ BTech Mechanical / Mechatronic engineering qualification
Previous work experience in HVAC and or refrigeration design
Knowledge of designs for Energy Management additional benefit

Skills Required:

Fundamental knowledge of refrigeration & HVAC process
Heat load calculations from first principles
System integration (compressors, heat exchangers, control valves and other line items)
PLC programming (ISAGRAF) will be advantageous
Ability to work under pressure
Problem Solving Ability

Responsibilities:

Design of HVAC&R equipment
Design and quoting of refrigeration & HVAC plants
Heat Load calculations
Electronic control setup and programming
Computer modelling to improve product design and manufacturing processes
Provide technical costing and quoting to Clients
