R15 000  - R30 000 CTC Per Month (D.O.E)

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our client’s team in designing, developing, and maintaining trucks, trailers, and related mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mechanical design, structural analysis, and vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the truck, trailer or heavy vehicle manufacturing industry is preferred
• Knowledge of material selection, welding, and fabrication techniques
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor or similar) for mechanical design
• Understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and braking systems in heavy vehicles
• Familiarity with ISO, ASME, and other relevant industry standards
• Valid drivers license and own reliable transportation
