SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading company in the mining equipment sector, is looking for a Junior Mechanical Draughtsman with experience in mining machinery design. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to grow within a dynamic engineering environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Produce detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for mining equipment and machinery.
Develop fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings as per project requirements.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.
Revise and update technical drawings based on feedback and design modifications.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy.

Requirements

Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Draughting or related field.
1-3 years of experience in mechanical draughting, specifically in mining machinery design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar 3D CAD software.
Knowledge of sheet metal, machining, and fabrication processes.
Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
