SUMMARY:
Network Recruitment is partnering with a leading OEM company in the mining industry to recruit a skilled Mechanical Engineer. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be part of an innovative team developing and optimizing heavy mining equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will be involved in the full lifecycle of mechanical design, development, testing, and implementation.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance mechanical components and systems for mining equipment.
Conduct simulations, performance testing, and failure analysis to improve equipment reliability.
Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure efficient design implementation.
Develop technical documentation, including specifications, reports, and manuals.
Identify and solve mechanical engineering challenges related to heavy machinery.
Stay up to date with industry advancements and integrate new technologies into product development.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within the mining or heavy equipment industry.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Strong understanding of material properties, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems.
Experience in finite element analysis (FEA) and computational simulations is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
