SUMMARY:
A dynamic organization based in the East Rand is looking to employ a Mechanical Design Engineer with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in mechanical design.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Matric
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and Own Vehicle
Industry experience in the Mining Sector
MS Office & Autodesk Inventor(Advanced)
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for design and drafting
Familiarity with on-site troubleshooting and commissioning practices
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting and team collaboration
Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
Background in fabrication and manufacturing
Exposure to local and international design and safety standards
Create and detail welded structural components
Produce detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor
Provide technical support during equipment installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites
