SUMMARY:
A well-established company in based Durban, KZN is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

Suitable Mechanical Engineering qualification
5 years’ experience, preferably with Solid Works or similar 2D & 3D Cad Package.
Advanced MS Excel knowledge
Knowledge of Road Traffic Acts/Laws/
HTM Weight Distribution modelling expertise
Knowledge of Commercial vehicles and Trailer design would be an advantage.
Failure analysis (FEA) knowledge would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Geometric Modelling using 2D & 3D Cad design software.
Production pack compilation.
Manage and maintain the Bill of Material for various builds.
Project management
Product design and development.
Manage spreadsheet models.
