SUMMARY:
Masa Outsourcing is urgently looking for a MECHANICAL ASSISTANT with an FMCG background.

POSITION INFO:
Experience – Essential

• Numerical/verbal reasoning,
• Computer literate, MS Office and SAP experience
• Understanding of Asset Performance and maintenance philosophy with excellent Process Improvement and a solid foundation in process understanding and problem-solving (eg root cause analysis)
• Multiskilled or willing to become (Mech, elec, process, etc)
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Ability to work in a team and be an effective team member, good communication skills.
• Has the strength of character to challenge poor team behaviors and non-adherence to standards.
• Functioned in an environment with FSSC accreditation with clear understanding of how maintenance influences food safety and quality.
• Surface problems don't hide them.
• Is an ambassador for Manufacturing Excellence and continuous improvement.
• Responds to change in a positive and flexible manner, adaptability.
• Have a safe working knowledge and understand the need for maintaining legal compliance.
• Sound knowledge of bottling principles e.g., Labeller, Rinser, Filler, and Capping maintenance

• N6 engineering and Equivalent (Mechanical Fitter trade test)
• 5 years experience as an artisan in Bottling processes and procedures including maintenance.
• Minimum of 5 years in an FMCG environment preferably in bottling
