Fast paced automotive supplier is looking for a strong Material Planner. Automotive experience and SAP are non-negotiable and ideally reside in the Gqeberha /PE area and surrounds

Requirements

• Grade 12 /Matric
• National Diploma Logistics
• Excellent computer skills (MS Excel & MS Powerpoint
• Excellent SAP knowledge compulsory
• 3 years’ experience in material controlling/logistics within automotive
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet stringent deadlines

Main Responsibilities

• Manage supplier’s demands
• Arrange shipments from suppliers overseas and maintain stock levels
• Manage inbound shipments to ETA's
• Sending releases to suppliers on weekly basis
• Maintaining and reporting on Ideal Stocks of Serial Inventory
• MRP running weekly for overseas suppliers
• Report writing
• Critical analysis of raw material
• Manage KPI of Overstock
• Timeous communication and escalation of risks
