Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage marketing functions to promote the organisations services effectively.
• Establish and maintain strong community relationships through outreach and events.
• Consult with families to provide guidance on funeral arrangements, pre-planning, and related services.
• Drive sales for funeral insurance, monumental products, and pre-planning solutions.
• Maintain accurate administrative records of visits and consultations.
• Assist in operational functions within the funeral home as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to connect with families empathetically and professionally.
• Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to assist families during challenging times.
• Proven Sales Ability: Experience in selling insurance, monumental products, or similar services is a plus.
• Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of marketing principles and community engagement.
• Administrative Proficiency: Well-organized with the ability to maintain detailed records.
• Local Knowledge: Established in the Durban area with an understanding of the local community.
