POSITION INFO:

Vida is Life, a proudly South African Hair Care brand, seeks to appoint an experienced FMCG Marketing Manager preferably in Johannesburg or Cape Town.

Job Purpose:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, attract and engage target audiences, and drive business growth through strategic marketing initiatives that combines trade marketing, branding, digital marketing, and product innovation with a hands-on approach.
• Deliver impactful campaigns, maintaining brand integrity, and ensuring market competitiveness, and supporting product innovation initiatives.

Minimum Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Seven (7) to twelve (12) years’ experience in FMCG marketing, with a demonstrated track record of success and experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.

Additional Requirements:

• Strong knowledge and experience in branding, digital marketing, trade marketing, and product innovation principle, which includes:

• Developing and executing programmes with retailers and distributors;
• Developing and maintaining brand guidelines, creating and managing successful brand campaigns, and ensuring brand consistency;
• Collaborating with product teams, conducting market research, and supporting new product launches;
• Expertise in SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing, and digital advertising;
• Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, and positioning;
• Experience with product innovation and new product development processes;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Proficient in marketing automation tools and digital marketing platforms;
• Ability to travel internationally;
• Driven self-starter able to contribute to a vibrant, growing brand and team.
• Valid Drivers licence
