Marketing Coordinator

Location: Somerset West, Cape Town (Hybrid)

Salary: R360k – R480k per annum

About the Role:

A leading industrial IoT firm developing AI-augmented solutions is recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to execute the marketing plan and strategize to create brand awareness of the company brand internally and externally. This position is based at our Head Office in Somerset West, reporting into the Marketing Manager.

Requirements:

Relevant Tertiary Qualification in in Marketing, Business, Communication or similar

Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role

Experience in digital marketing or integrated marketing.

Experience in marketing content creation.

Basic graphic design experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and implementing the marketing plan and strategy.

Project management: Assist Product Owners with developing marketing briefs for product marketing and launches, conduct marketing plan, ensure the execution of marketing campaigns is done according to the marketing brief.

Resources management: Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure optimal delivery of services (e.g. graphic designers, videographers, copywriters).

Oversee and assist in basic graphic design work.

Manage, update, and monitor the company website.

Reporting: Monitor, evaluate and report on marketing statistics, i.e. Google Analytics, website, LinkedIn, YouTube.

Template management: Formatting and compiling of all company documentation and presentations.

Plan, coordinate and execute marketing and client events.

Assist in the creation of appropriate marketing content that educates and brings an awareness of our offerings across multi-forums.

Produce and constantly update sales and marketing materials.

Provide the Business Development team with up to date and correct marketing tools.

Collaborate with the Business Development team on sales and marketing projects.

Ensure marketing content reaches the correct audiences through the appropriate marketing platforms.

Brand management: Work closely with the marketing manager on brand maintenance and evolvement.

Social media:

o Maintain a positive company social media presence, through continual posts and activity on all relevant platforms.

o Identify and build the correct target audiences.

o Develop and execute campaigns.

Track, analyse and report on marketing campaign performance.

Compile the marketing budget with the marketing manager.

Manage and monitor the marketing budget.
