POSITION INFO:

We are currently seeking a qualified Marine Officer/Scheduler for a 12-month contract position in Durban. If you meet the following qualifications and experience requirements, we encourage you to apply:

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Marine Assurance
• National Diploma in Shipping and Logistics
• Courses in Shipping and Legal Practice, Ports and Terminal Management, and Global Shipping Knowledge
• Incident Management System (IMS 100, 200 & 300) training
• Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers (MICS)
• Expertise in Ship Vetting Assurance and applying associated berth fit criteria
• Knowledge of the latest edition of ISGOTT and proficiency in the Ship to Shore Safety Checklist interface to ensure industry best practices
• Must be local to the area or willing to relocate and secure own accommodation
