Well-established manufacturing company seeks to employ an experienced Operations Manager with extensive management experience to increase the operational performance of the company, to provide strategic direction, leadership and management of operational and financial activities that are aligned to meet the overall strategic objectives of the company.

For the position you would be required to have:

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial)
• Around 8 years operations/manufacturing experience
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience at a senior level in a similar position
• Experience in design for customer specific product applications and product development
• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
• Understanding of diverse business functions
• Understanding of corporate governance and general management best practices
• Willing / open to travel

Responsibilities would include you to:

• Oversee and lead the operations to ensure it delivers high quality, cost effective and timely solutions in line with business needs.
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• Head up the manufacturing, supply chain, technical, health and safety, projects, planning and procurement departments.
• Plan and coordinate operations to ensure financial success of the company.
• Foster relationships with senior leadership, team members and build relationships with distributors and suppliers.
• Monitor and drive production to achieve deadlines and continuously improve, resolving issues that arise.
