About the role

Our client, a leading player in the battery technology sector, including automotive, industrial, and UPS batteries, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to oversee all aspects of the business operations. As the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve the company's goals and objectives. You will provide strong leadership to the team, ensuring alignment with their vision and values.

Duties and responsibilities

Develop and implement business strategies and plans
Lead and manage senior management team
Drive company profitability and growth
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Monitor and report on operational performance

Qualifications

Looking for a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferrable). Previous experience in a similar role is essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, financial acumen, excellent communication, negotiation, problem solving skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing and building a diverse team.
