SUMMARY:
The successful candidate would be responsible for technology analysis, project management of specific areas and recommends policies, strategies and integration thereof. Â Have experience with conducting security testing/audits and vulnerability assessments, collaborating with IT Teams, management, and other departments to ensure that security measures align with business goals, design and implement network security architectures, including Data Centres, and prepare and manage the budget requirements for security related initiatives and technologies

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:
Â

Relevant Degree/Diploma (NQF 6)
5 Years relevant experience with a minimum 3 yearsâ experience managing a network security team or any other technology team
Networking and/or security certification (CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, etc )
Technology Life-Cycle Management experience of security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, SIEM)
Experience evaluating and managing relationships with security vendors and service providers
Experience in the implementation of and compliance with security standards and regulations
Experience with Information Security risk assessments
Experience in leading your own and other teams to maintain, report on and enhance network security
