Maintenance Supervisor

SUMMARY:
Country Inn / Hotel close to Mkuze is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor.
 
This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership, making it vital for maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
 

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

Oversee all hotel maintenance activities.
Conduct regular facility inspections.
Perform routine maintenance tasks (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry).
Address guest maintenance requests promptly.
Develop preventive maintenance programs.
Manage maintenance inventory and supplies.
Maintain schedules and records using Excel.
Coordinate with contractors for repairs/projects.
Collaborate with Project Manager on new projects.
Monitor maintenance expenses and budgets.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Mentor maintenance staff.
Handle administrative tasks (emails, scheduling).

Requirements:

Proven supervisory experience in a luxury HOTEL context (4* or 5*).
Strong technical skills in maintenance and repairs.
Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations.
Ability to work independently under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
