Maintenance Manager - Ngodwana

SUMMARY:
A vacancy exists at Ngodwana for a Maintenance Manager that is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance of a power plant by managing a team of maintenance technicians and other professionals who work together to ensure that the plant is running smoothly and safely.

POSITION INFO:
Key Performance Outputs
-Primarily oversee all mechanical and electrical maintenance systems, processes, practices and people to support the operational departmental actions.
-Align with the operations plan to ensure plant optimization and efficiency, maintenance planning and capital spares optimization.
-To lead the site Maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
-Responsible for ensuring that the facility operate to its maximum efficiency and output.
-Responsibilities includes total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.
-Responsible for the management of outsourced contracts such as Turbine General Overhaul, Contract Labour management and special projects management.
