Maintenance Manager - Heavy Engineering and Manufacturing

POSITION INFO:

A leading defense and manufacturing company is looking for a Maintenance Manager to oversee operations at their high-tech production facility. This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced maintenance and asset management professional with a strong background in heavy engineering and defense manufacturing.

Requirements: - 

• BSc/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• GCC Factories (Government Certificate of Competency)
• 8+ years of experience in mechanical & electrical maintenance within manufacturing.
• 6+ years as a legal appointee in production or manufacturing plants.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience with Hydraulic Presses (1000T+), Heat Treatment Systems, and CNC Machines.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards, SHEQ compliance, and safety protocols.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a high-tech, high-security manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead preventative and predictive maintenance strategies
• Oversee ISO 55001 asset management and critical spares planning
• Ensure compliance with OSHACT, ISO, and SHEQ safety systems
• Manage maintenance of CNC machines, hydraulic presses, and heat treatment facilities and automated systems
• Implement technical improvements and efficiency upgrades
• Drive cost-effective maintenance planning aligned with production schedules
• Develop and lead a multi-disciplinary maintenance team while ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance
