A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Manager to join a reputable company based in Hartswater. You will be leading a small team of 2 to oversee and manage the maintenance operations for various machinery, electrical systems, and equipment.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to lead a team in performing regular maintenance tasks across machinery, electrical systems, welding, steelwork, sheet metal, services, and light engine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate daily maintenance activities for machinery, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Oversee welding, steelwork, and sheet metal fabrication as required.
- Ensure services and light engine maintenance are carried out efficiently.
- Lead, supervise, and provide guidance to the maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
Education and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Relevant Maintenance or Millwright qualification.
Experience:
- Proven expertise in maintenance tasks, welding, steelwork, and sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing small teams.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with computers and maintenance management systems.
